After the events of October 7th, I was compelled to provide a platform for the voices of families whose loved ones were taken hostage. Teaming up with the Jerusalem Post, we embarked on a mission to interview and photograph these families, capturing the stories of their children, mothers, brothers, sisters, and grandmothers. Each hostage had a world they left behind, steeped in agonising pain. Yet, each family was brimming with hope and faith that their loved ones would return home. When I asked them about their extraordinary strength, their answer was simple yet profound:
“What other choice do we have?”
